Sketches generate leads when there isn't anything else to go on

If you don't have evidence, if you don't have good leads, you have to do something,” he said. “You have to generate some leads. That's something they can do to develop some leads.”

Greenville police Cpl. Tyler Propst said that while no one at the department could recall a sketch breaking a case, officers consider them effective in generating leads.
